RockFest! Climbing Competition

RockFest! 2008

RockFest! '08 will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2008. For more information please click here.

Thank you for Participating in 2007!

RockFest! Staff“Rock Fest 2007 was a huge success.  Despite the 20 inches of snow, Stout Adventures had the largest participant turnout ever with 60 registered climbers coming to compete from all over the upper Midwest.  Our theme this year was IROCK – IRAQ, and due to the generosity of the climbing community and local businesses Stout Adventures collected an enormous amount of goods to be packaged up and sent as care packages to the local men and women currently serving in Iraq.  A special THANKS goes out to everyone who helped make the competition the best ever.  See you next year!”

A special thanks to Leinenkugals Lodge for helping support IROCK –IRAQ by committing to paying for the shipping of all the donated goods.  Stout Adventures boxed up 18 packages and Leini’s will pick up the shipping costs.

Climb for a Cause - Saturday March 3, 2007

University Recreation-Stout Adventures
6th Annual ROCKFEST! Climbing Competition
“Climb for a Cause”
Saturday, March 3 2007

Stout Adventures is proud to give you an opportunity to “Climb for a Cause”. This year's climbing competition theme is IROCK-IRAQ. Our goal is to acquire donations which will be shipped to Menomonie area service men and women currently on duty in Iraq. We feel that by providing them with “Care Packages” from home we can lift their spirits and demonstrate our support and appreciate for their bravery. The Sunday following the competition, the entire Stout Adventures staff will give their time to package, write letters, and ship all donated goods to the local men and women overseas.
